This week I didn’t have any additional symptoms from the previous chemo. Just the normal hot flushes through the night, and having more frequent nose bleeds, but I think I just need to leave my nose alone and it may stop! Ha!

This week I bought the nurses a little goody bag of treats.

Every day they look after people and are always making us comfortable. I know this is their job, but they do it with such big genuine smiles on their faces and seem to genuinely care.

Every time I go in, I always bring in a Costa coffee and they joke about why I haven’t bought them one. I have never seen them drink coffee, but I do know they like hot chocolate. So I went to the shop the weekend before and bought a mixture of 5 different hot chocolate flavours and 2 big boxes of chocolate biscuits. I think they were pretty happy with that! I say that because as soon as I handed the bag over, they were all in their like vultures seeing what they could have! And that is exactly the reaction I wanted 😊

Today was a really quick session, in at 1.30 – out by 3.30. No problems with finding the veins, canula straight in, and all went well 😊

Just 4 more Paclitaxel’s to go! Yay!
