Hurrah!! Step 1 is done and dusted! I have just completed my 12th round of Paclitaxel and Carboplatin. That is 12 weeks of back-to-back blood tests, covid tests, and chemotherapy infusions! Whoop Whoop!
Since my last treatment, my week was better than the previous one. The only newish ailment is the tingling in the toes has spread to all of my toes now, but it still isn’t causing me any pain, so there is not much that can be done for this, and I am still coughing a bit more, but I am covid free, so I think it just a reaction to the drugs!
I do still have to come back next Friday for chemotherapy, however, this will be for a new cycle of drugs, so to be it is the start of a new step!
16th March I will be having a catch-up with my surgeon to again discuss the next steps of my treatment post-chemo! Yay!
P.S – Not sure what happened last week – but I had a very empty ward today! Ha!
