Another Week Done – and more drugs injected and destroying this tumour!

I am now coming to terms with my “New Normal”. It is normal that I potentially am not going to sleep much after each chemotherapy, I am going to have aches throughout my body, I am going to have nosebleeds, and this is just what is going to happen for the next few months. The hot flushes are still coming strong, however, I haven’t really cut down on the caffeine or chocolate, so yeah, that ones on me! Whoops

I still haven’t got angry at cancer; I just get a little frustrated now and again that I have to sit down after doing the washing up because my body doesn’t want to stand anymore. But, after a few hours, I am back up again.

I enjoy coming to Poole Hospital for my chemo as the people here are amazing and make me laugh and smile every time I come in. But also, I am getting those drugs that are going to kill this beast!

6 down, just 15 more to go!!
